Be Safe • Be Happy • Be Yourself
A Sense of Belonging
We recognize the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with children and understanding the expectations and values of their families. To support this, we provide a predictable and dependable environment with consistent routines that foster a sense of security and belonging.
Our educators intentionally build trusting attachments by closely observing each child, learning about their individual preferences, needs, and interests, and engaging in meaningful, focused interactions. These relationships lay the foundation for each child’s emotional well-being, confidence, and readiness to learn.

Free Play and Independent Play
At Jasmine Early Learning, children are given the freedom to explore their favorite activities and play materials in a calm, unhurried environment. We respect their need for time and space to learn independently, offering guidance without unnecessary intervention.
Clear, consistent, and age-appropriate expectations are set to promote fair play and support the development of social skills. Children are encouraged to make choices, take manageable risks, and engage in a wide variety of play experiences—both indoors and outdoors—with the support and presence of attentive educators.
We also value each child’s individuality and encourage them to approach tasks in their own unique way, when appropriate, fostering creativity, confidence, and a strong sense of self.
Physical and Emotional Development
We honor each child’s unique motor development and support their physical growth at their own pace. Our spacious indoor and outdoor environments, along with thoughtfully selected play materials, encourage movement and support children’s natural interest in mobility and physical exploration.
We believe that every feeling is valid and important. Our educators help children identify and express their emotions, guiding them to manage feelings in situations involving choice, decision-making, conflict, or frustration. Children are also encouraged to explore and communicate their emotions and ideas through a variety of creative media, supporting both emotional literacy and self-expression.

Sensory Play
At Jasmine Early Learning, children are offered a wide range of play experiences that stimulate the senses, engage the mind, and support physical development. Abundant outdoor play invites children to connect with the natural world—observing patterns of light through leaves, listening to the sound of rain, and exploring seasonal changes.
We also provide a variety of sensory-rich activities that engage different senses through smells, textures, temperatures, sounds, numbers, shapes, sizes, and colors. Messy play is not only welcomed—it’s encouraged! These experiences support curiosity, creativity, and discovery, helping our little explorers learn through hands-on, joyful exploration.
Music and Movement
At Jasmine Early Learning, music and movement are an integral part of our daily routine, bringing children joy, comfort, and a powerful means of expressing their emotions and moods. Children participate in dance, explore rhythm, and develop skills using musical instruments in a fun and engaging environment.
We nurture children’s appreciation for music by building on their enjoyment of specific sounds and rhythms, helping to deepen their connection to particular pieces. Our playlist includes not only popular children’s songs but also classical violin and piano compositions, enriching their musical experience and broadening their exposure to different styles.

Our Junior Kindergarten program offers a rich variety of activities—including ample outdoor play, creative arts, and small group learning and discussions—designed to prepare children for kindergarten by supporting their physical, social-emotional, and academic development.

Independence and Competence
At Jasmine Early Learning, we support children in developing essential self-help and self-care skills, including eating, toileting, washing, and dressing. Through positive guidance, children learn appropriate behaviors and how to keep themselves and others safe from harm.
We encourage independence by offering opportunities for challenge, risk-taking, and trying new experiences—always within a supportive environment where educators are attentive to signs of hunger, discomfort, or fatigue.
Our program also provides children with dedicated time to engage in their favorite activities, pursue personal interests, and work on longer-term projects, fostering both skill development and a love of learning.

Essential Skills for Life
We partner with children and their families to nurture essential skills such as social-emotional development, problem-solving, and learning strategies—critical foundations that help set our youngest learners on the path to a fulfilling and successful life.
Children are encouraged to express and articulate their emotions, identify their feelings, and explore appropriate ways to resolve them. Through guided discussions and interactive experiences, they learn to suggest solutions, negotiate rights, and engage in conversations about fairness and justice as part of conflict resolution.
We support children in developing empathy by helping them recognize and understand others’ feelings and perspectives during play, conversations, and storytelling. As children grow, we foster increasingly complex problem-solving abilities through active, imaginative, and cooperative play.
Our daily routines also help children understand and appreciate social rules and strategies, including the reasons behind them and their importance. Quiet areas and uninterrupted playtime are available to support children’s individual needs for focus, reflection, and independent play.
Laying the Foundation for Academic Success
Research consistently shows that early math and reading skills are among the strongest predictors of long-term academic success. To support this growth, we offer structured, interactive daily learning sessions designed to build these foundational skills in meaningful and engaging ways.
Our small-group classes allow teachers to personalize instruction to each child’s needs, interests, and learning pace. With this individualized approach, children receive focused guidance as they develop essential reading, writing, and math abilities while engaging deeply with core areas of the curriculum.
Alongside phonics-based reading instruction, we place strong emphasis on reading comprehension and story reconstruction through guided questions, discussions, and story-retelling activities.
We also dedicate time for children to share personal updates, family experiences, and express their thoughts and feelings. These conversations strengthen communication skills, nurture self-confidence, and foster a classroom culture of community and mutual respect.
